Working group of non-physicians in ophthalmology

Dear members of the Czech Ophthalmological Society of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně,

We would like to inform you that the Czech Society of Ophthalmological (CSO) of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně (CzMA) is establishing a Working Group of Non-Physicians in Ophthalmology" is being established at the CSO CzMA, whose mission is to provide long-term support for professional cooperation and the systematic development of clinical practice, as well as the targeted sharing of experience across ophthalmological workplaces, which will lead to a continuous improvement in the quality and safety of ophthalmological care.
The working group will focus primarily on supporting and developing the professional qualifications and education of non-medical healthcare professionals, organizing professional courses, seminars, and conferences focused on new technologies, diagnostic methods, and treatment and nursing procedures in ophthalmology.

The basic condition for membership in the working group is valid membership in the CSO CzMA, associated with an annual membership fee of CZK 600, which is intended to ensure organizational and administrative support, the implementation of professional and educational activities, and the systematic development of the working group's activities.

We believe that the establishment of the working group will contribute to further strengthening professional cooperation within the CSO CzMA and will be beneficial for the development of ophthalmological care in the Czech Republic.
